Fog on the Yellowstone River, Yellowstone National Park. I've been hunting a long, long time for a photo of a foggy forest. On this morning at sunrise, waiting for trumpeter swans, I looked up and saw this. With occasional hot springs heating the river and the first touch of sunlight, the river steamed and the fog rose. I absolutely love the fog. It can change a familiar landscape into someplace completely new. When my time comes, I wouldn't mind if it looked something like this.
