A red fox kit, near Greybull, Wyoming. Shot just before sunset. These little ones were so adorably curious. Taking these photos meant staying very still and building up their trust, and slowly their natural behaviors would come out as they accepted and ignored my presence. When none of the kits were looking my way I might move my arm to adjust my camera or brush a bug off of me, and this little kit almost seemed to enjoy the game of trying to catch me in the act of movement.
