Pronghorn are some of my favorite animals to see in Wyoming. They're the undisputed speed kings of North America, topping out at nearly 60 mph! They're the 2nd fastest land mammals in the world behind cheetahs. Their speed likely evolved to escape a predator that no longer exists... the American cheetah.
