Phantom in Flight
The Phantom of the North, the Great Gray Owl, in Yellowstone National Park. This juvenile owl is flying from perch to perch, encircling a grassy meadow where they prefer to hunt by sight and sound for small mammals. Famously, owls in general have adaptations on their feathers that allow air to pass over them silently without the "whoosh" sound most other birds create. In flight, they are silent. It's very ethereal.
